Whatever your connection to the transgender community - whether you are transgender, a cross dresser or in between; a spouse, a partner or a family member; straight, gay, bi or omni-sexual; post-op, pre-op or non-op; young or old; married or single; FtM or MtF - if transgender is an issue in your life, you are welcome! What is your opinion about the emergence or the so called third sex or gay movement? I'm sure she doesn't hate you honey but like I said give her some time, I can't say she'll wanna date you but she might wanna be friends again. She could be a bit shocked, maybe try to talk to her and explain the whole trans thing and possibly she will come round, you can't push people otherwise you will just scare them off more. Real men is any man that can get dropped in the middle of a forest, and find his way back to civilization.
So I guess that makes you a freak too.
Would you date a transman?
I think transmen would be better advised to stick to lesbians, who are more likely to understand. I have been with my FTM partner for 10 years. If you associated yourself as male before and you just made your body look like your true self, then you're a man. There are a number of things that couples end up not telling each other just because they don't really matter that much. However, I know many cis-gendered people who would date a trans person of the gender they are attracted to.
